How does the manual press work?
- Before starting to use the press, it is advisable to get rid of possible traces of dust on the inside with a brush or air jet. Once the dust is scraped off, use a cloth to clean the cage, the half moons and the studs.
- We will fill the tank with glycerin oil through the hole closed with a cap
- We will move the jack to the highest position of the screw on which the ratchet is located.
- We place the half moons and the studs as it happens with a manual press. We will screw the spindle nut until the jack is not resting on the studs.
- We will remove the clamps from their position and lower them as low as possible.
- We will tighten the steering wheel well and pump with the lever until the pistons reach the maximum of their travel. At that moment is when you have to screw the ring back so that the pistons enter again and thus repeat the operation.
- We unscrew the flywheel to release the pressure and turn the spindle nut until the pistons have not returned to the chambers and we screw the flywheel again and repeat the pumping process.
- We repeat the process 2 or 3 times until the processing is complete.
- Do not exceed 400 atm since if it is passed, the internal spring will release the safety valve, causing a drop in pressure.
