Description
One-component cement-based coating enhanced with synthetic resin and silica fume. Meets the requirements of UNE-EN 1504-4 and UNE-EN 1504-7
Preparation
Mixing proportions: to apply by brush, 1,05 liters of water per 4kg bucket. To apply by spraying, 1 liter of water per 4 kg bucket. On concrete surfaces, weak, damaged and deteriorated concrete and, where necessary, sound concrete should be removed by suitable mechanical means. In reinforcement, the surfaces must be prepared using abrasive blasting techniques or high pressure water until reaching a 2 1/2 degree of saturation according to the SIS 05.59.00 Standard.
Use
Protection of reinforcement against corrosion in concrete repair work. Bonding layer on concrete or mortar before the application of SIKA MonoTop repair mortars.
Application
Consumption: as an adhesion layer, 2,0 - 2,5 kg of powder per m2. As armor protection, 2,0 kg of dust per m2. To protect previously treated armor, apply a layer approximately 1 mm thick with a stiff hair brush or spray gun. The second coat of the same thickness is applied after 4-5 hours at + 20 ° C. As an adhesion layer, the application will be made by brush or roller with hard hair or with the help of a suitable spray gun, on the previously prepared and moistened support until capillary saturation. The repair mortar is then applied fresh on fresh, on the adhesion layer. Protect freshly applied mortar from early dewatering with proper curing methods. The concrete support must be clean, healthy, free of fats, oils, cement grouts and loose or poorly adhered particles. The reinforcements must be clean, free of oil, grease, rust, calamine and concrete remains.
