Checkpoints before start-up
- Make sure that install the machine in a stable and vertical position. In a area away from a walla ground not too hard and where you have enough space to work.
- Check that there are no foreign elements inside the shredding channel and that the knives are correctly installed.
- Check that the connection base and the extension cable are in perfect condition and that they comply with the regulations and requirements necessary for this machine. Check that the cable and extension are behind the machine and outside the area to be cleaned.
Start up and stop
Machine connection: Before connecting the machine to the mains, check that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position, then connect the shredder to the electrical network using a suitable extension cord.
- Power on the machine
- Check that the forward/reverse switch is in the forward position.
- Press the On/Off switch in the green area marked with the symbol “I” and the shredder will start to work
- machine shutdown
- Press the On/Off switch in the red zone marked with the symbol “0”. The engine of the machine will stop.
- ATTENTION!. Do not feed material into the hopper after the machine engine has stopped. This action could cause the material to catch on the blades and make it impossible for the machine to restart.
Blade direction adjustment
ATTENTION!: The direction of rotation of the blades must only be changed with the shredder switched off (On/Off switch in the OFF position).
- forward position of the blades:
- This is the normal operating position. In this position, the rotation of the blades will push the material into the wood chipper and expel the cut material through the ejection mouth.
- reverse position of the blades:
- This position will only be used to unlock the shredder blades. In this position the rotation of the blades is reversed, unlocking the blades.
Note: When the forward/reverse switch is in position: the On/Off switch is in the locked position so that when you press the green button “I” this
it doesn't stay connected. You will have to hold down the “I” button if you want the blades to move and when you stop pressing the motor it will stop immediately.
Overload protection
this biocrusher has an overload system which will act in the following situations:
- Whether accumulate too much material on the cutting blades.
- If material to be crushed is too strong for engine capacity.
- When there is any high resistance on the blades.
When the overload system acts the machine behaves as follows:
- La machine will reverse direction rotation of the blades for 3 seconds.
- La machine will turn in the normal direction running again.
- If the material continues to overload the machine will repeat this process.
- Si after three attempts automatic unlocking the machine is still overloaded the machine will stop and the led will flash red.
If led starts flashing red perform the following actions:
- unplug the machine of the network.
- place the switch forward/reverse in position "OR".
- Clean all material that is inside the machine.
- wait 5 minutes.
- Press the protect button overload to reset the machine.
- place the switch forward/reverse in reverse position .
- Press the On/Off switch in the “I” part to ensure that there is no element between the blades (If there is any material to be removed, disconnect the machine from the mains and clean).
- Stop pressing the On/Off switch in part “I”
- place the switch forward / backward in position .
- Start the shredder by pressing “I” on the On/Off switch.
LED Indicator
La Led light indicates different states of the machine:
- Red:
- Fixed: indicates that the machine is connected to the mains and that the engine is off.
- Flashing: indicates that the machine has not been able to get out of an overload situation.
- Green:
- Fixed: indicates that the machine is running (engine running)
- Flashing: Indicates that the machine has locked up due to overload during operation.
collecting drawer
This machine It has a safety switch that will not allow it to start if the grass drawer is not installed correctly. and the locking lever in the upper position. Remember:
- If the lever is in the upper position the drawer will be locked and the machine can work.
- If the lever is in lower position the drawer is released and the machine will not be able to work
Checkpoints after commissioning
Check that when starts the shredder without work load the motor runs smoothly y the blades do not hit anything. if you listen strange noises or detects that the machine is not working properly stop the machine and check if there is debris or foreign matter in the machine.
