Finishing varnish LASUR AQUEOUS Letter Lasur
Water-repellent, protective, open-pore varnish with high penetration power. Formulated with acrylic resins, transparent pigments and fungicidal preservatives that form a microporous, elastic film, resistant to ultraviolet rays, breathable to the water vapor contained in wood. Indoor and outdoor use (except colorless). Cleanliness and dilution with water. Certified by the EPD-DAP (Environmental Product Declaration): enables a sustainable building according to LEED and BREEAM standards.
Preparation
The wood must be clean, dry, grease-free and sanded. Its moisture content should not exceed 15%. It can be applied over old varnishes if they are in good condition, but it is advisable to remove them completely to achieve the best results. Sand with paper # 150 - 180.
Use
Recommended for all types of wood surfaces exposed to the elements (doors, windows, porches, etc.) that degrade without cracking and chipping, so that it is not necessary to remove old layers before applying successive layers
Application
Brush. Apply 2/3 coats to use, sanding gently between coats. Apply in thin layers, well stretched, until obtaining a uniform shine and adequate thickness. In very porous woods it may be necessary to apply more coats. The number of coats applied will influence the hue of the color obtained. Highly resinous woods must be previously cleaned with UNIVERSAL Solvent (D-45).
